With every drop of water you drink, every breath you take, you’re connected to the sea. SYLVIA EARLE.
This quote could explain why when we go down to the beach near the House with the Blue Door I embrace the liminal space of the beach with the tide washing over it. It was during an early-morning pajama’d walk down to the beach that I took this photograph, with the just-rising sun glistening on the wet sand. This quote seemed a perfect accompaniment to it, overwritten over the sand and water ripples with chalk markers.
