I took these pictures last summer when we were down by the sea at the House with the Blue Door. I take heaps and heaps of photos of the beach, mostly when I wander down to the sand first thing in the morning, nursing a cup of tea, and wearily my hastily pulled-on wellies. Most of the photos just left on my phone. But I printed these two out and messed about with them with sandpaper and acrylic paint. I particularly like the one with the teddy on the driftwood as I took it when my son had abandoned everything in his joy to run into the water. Beautiful memories.
